SHIPPING POLICY

This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed on https://joravel.com.
Joravel sells furniture, lighting, and other eligible home furnishing items that may require small-parcel, oversized, freight, appointment-based, or upgraded delivery service depending on the item and delivery address. Shipping availability, delivery method, cost, and timing may vary by product size, product weight, inventory location, carrier availability, and destination.
Shipping destinations
Joravel currently ships to the United States.
PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, freight forwarders, remote addresses, islands, rural routes, gated communities, limited-access locations, and commercial receiving locations may require additional review or may not be available unless Joravel confirms the shipment in writing before purchase.
International shipping
Joravel is currently focused on the United States market and does not offer general international shipping through the website.
Processing and transit time
Processing time is the time needed to confirm payment, review the order, prepare or produce the item, coordinate packing, and release the order for shipment.
Typical processing times:
- Most made-to-order furniture, lighting, and home furnishing items: usually 12 to 25 business days before dispatch
- Complex custom, oversized, modified, or special-order items: up to 30 business days before dispatch
- Some semi-finished or ready-to-complete items: may be prepared faster when the product page, checkout, order confirmation, or written customer service update specifically states a shorter timeline
Estimated transit time begins after the order ships.
Typical transit times:
- Standard ocean, oversized, or freight transit: usually 4 to 5 weeks after dispatch, typically 20 to 30 business days
- Air shipping, when specifically selected or confirmed in writing before shipment: usually 7 to 15 business days after dispatch
- Remote-area, appointment-based, final-mile, or special freight delivery: additional time may be required
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. public holidays. Orders placed outside business hours, on weekends, or on U.S. public holidays may begin processing on the next business day.
For standard free shipping on most made-to-order furniture, lighting, and eligible home furnishing items, the estimated total delivery time is usually 32 to 55 business days after order confirmation. Shipping time does not include production or processing time unless expressly stated.
The final timeline may vary by item size, finish, customization, production queue, freight capacity, carrier availability, final-mile scheduling, and destination, but the estimated range above is the standard planning range for Joravel products covered by this shipping policy. Delivery estimates are provided for planning purposes and are not guarantees unless Joravel expressly confirms a guaranteed delivery date in writing. Carrier delays, appointment availability, weather, freight capacity, address issues, remote routes, manufacturer delays, inventory changes, or other conditions outside Joravel's control may extend delivery time.
Shipping delays and unavailable items
If we cannot ship within the timeframe shown on the product page, order confirmation, or customer service update, we will contact you with a revised estimate or available options. Depending on the situation, you may choose to wait, replace or exchange the item when available, or cancel the unshipped item for a refund where required.
If an item becomes unavailable after an order is placed, Joravel will contact you with available options, which may include waiting for restock, replacing or exchanging the item when available, or canceling the affected item for a refund before shipment.
Shipping cost
Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout before payment.
Shipping cost may depend on the delivery address, product size, product weight, delivery method, carrier service, order value, and whether the item requires small-parcel, oversized, freight, appointment-based, or upgraded delivery service.
Joravel offers free standard shipping to eligible addresses in the United States when the product page, cart, checkout, or order confirmation shows the shipping charge as $0.00. Free standard shipping, if available, does not automatically include expedited shipping, freight upgrades, room-of-choice placement, unpacking, assembly, installation, packaging removal, white-glove service, remote-area surcharges, limited-access delivery, storage, redelivery, or special handling unless expressly stated in writing by Joravel.
Oversized items, remote addresses, limited-access locations, upgraded delivery services, expedited shipping, special handling, freight coordination, appointment delivery, or white-glove delivery may require additional charges.
If a required delivery surcharge cannot be calculated at checkout and is identified during address or carrier review before shipment, Joravel will contact you before shipment. You may approve the surcharge or cancel the affected unshipped item for a refund before shipment.
Multiple shipments
Items in the same order may ship separately. Separate shipments may arrive on different dates and may use different carriers or delivery methods.
Freight and oversized delivery
Large furniture and oversized items may ship by freight carrier.
Unless a product page, checkout option, order confirmation, or written customer service update states otherwise, freight delivery is curbside, driveway, garage-front, loading-dock, or threshold delivery at the carrier's discretion.
Standard freight delivery does not include room-of-choice placement, unpacking, assembly, installation, packaging removal, stair carry, elevator coordination, hoisting, door removal, old furniture removal, room clearing, or white-glove service unless Joravel confirms the service in writing before shipment.
For freight and oversized deliveries, the customer is responsible for:
- Providing a valid phone number and complete delivery address
- Responding to carrier scheduling requests
- Being available for scheduled delivery appointments
- Ensuring the delivery location is accessible for the carrier
- Measuring doorways, stairways, elevators, hallways, tight corners, and the intended room
- Clearing the delivery path before the carrier arrives
- Inspecting packaging and visible product condition at delivery
- Noting visible damage on the delivery receipt when possible
Carrier fees may apply for missed appointments, storage, redelivery, address changes, refused delivery, remote delivery, limited-access delivery, building access requirements, or special delivery requests.
Premium In-Home White Glove Delivery
Premium In-Home White Glove Delivery may be available for eligible oversized furniture items where service is available.
White Glove Delivery is not included with every order. Availability, cost, service level, and delivery timing may vary by product, delivery address, carrier coverage, building access, and checkout options.
When White Glove Delivery is available and selected or confirmed for an eligible item, the service may include scheduled appointment delivery, room-of-choice placement, unpacking, and removal of standard packaging materials. Service details may vary by carrier and location.
White Glove Delivery does not include furniture assembly, wall mounting, anchoring, electrical work, plumbing, hoisting, door removal, old furniture removal, room clearing, or disposal of existing furniture unless Joravel confirms the service in writing before shipment.
Deliveries involving more than two standard flights of stairs, narrow access points, limited parking, gated entry, freight elevator reservations, Certificate of Insurance requirements, loading dock requirements, remote locations, missed appointments, inaccessible delivery locations, or special building requirements may require additional review and may be subject to additional fees or restrictions.
An adult 18 years or older must be present during the scheduled delivery window to accept, inspect, and sign for the delivery.
Customers are responsible for confirming that the item can be delivered safely into the intended room. If an item cannot be delivered due to space, access, building restrictions, or customer-provided delivery information, additional delivery, storage, return freight, exchange freight, or rescheduling fees may apply.
Address accuracy and tracking
Provide a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Joravel is not responsible for delays, lost shipments, carrier fees, redelivery fees, storage fees, return freight, or exchange freight caused by incorrect or incomplete address information.
If you need to change an address, contact support@joravel.com immediately. Address changes are not guaranteed once an order enters processing, packing, freight scheduling, or shipment.
When tracking is available, Joravel will send tracking information by email after shipment. Some freight shipments may show limited tracking until the item reaches the final-mile carrier. Freight carriers may contact you directly to schedule delivery.
Lost, damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments
Inspect your order promptly after delivery and keep all packaging until the item is confirmed in good condition.
For visible shipping damage, email support@joravel.com within 48 hours of delivery.
For concealed damage, missing parts, defects, or incorrect items, email support@joravel.com within 5 business days of delivery.
If tracking shows delivered but you cannot locate the package, contact support@joravel.com within 5 business days of the delivery scan so we can review the shipment with the carrier.
Photos of the product, packaging, shipping label, delivery receipt, and damage may be required.
Refused or failed delivery
If delivery is refused or fails for reasons unrelated to verified shipping damage or carrier error, the order may be handled as a change-of-mind return or exchange request.
Original shipping, return shipping, exchange shipping, freight, redelivery, storage, upgraded delivery services, white-glove service fees, and related carrier fees may be deducted from the refund or charged before an exchange or replacement shipment where permitted by law and by Joravel's Return, Refund, and Exchange Policy.
